    1. The Indian government is expected to become Vodafone Idea's largest shareholder.

    ● The company's board of directors approved the conversion of interest of Rs 16,000 crores into equity.
    ● The interest on the spectrum and AGR dues have been approved into government equity by India's third-largest network, Vi or Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL).
    ● VIL agreed to a four-year moratorium as well as the equity conversion, which means the Indian government will hold nearly 35.8% of VIL, followed by Vodafone Group with 28.5 percent and Aditya Birla Group with 17.8 percent.

    2. The Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) was successfully flight tested in its final "deliverable version" by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

    ● Bharat Dynamics Limited will manufacture MPATGM at their facilities in Bhanoor, Telangana.
    ● The goal of the missile's testing was to ensure that it performed consistently at a minimum range of 200-300 metres.
    ● MPATGM has already successfully completed a comparable test with a maximum range of 4,000 metres.
    ● Following this successful test, the MPATGM system is now ready for mass manufacturing in India.

    3. The Supreme Court of India has formed a five-member committee to investigate the security breach that occurred during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Punjab.

    ● Justice Indu Malhotra, a former Supreme Court judge, will lead the committee.
    ● The panel also includes the National Investigation Agency's (NIA) Inspector General, Chandigarh's Director-General of Police, the Registrar General of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, and Punjab's Additional DGP (Security).

    8. Dr S Somanath, an experienced rocket scientist, has been named as the next chairman and Space Secretary of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

    11. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that Tata Group has taken over as title sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, replacing Chinese mobile phone maker Vivo.
